The Classroom Story Behind SpinWheelix
I'm Nadine Hamdan, M.Ed., an international educator with over two decades of teaching experience across IB, Cambridge, American, and inquiry-based curricula in the Middle East.
Every single day in my teaching career, I observed the subtle dynamics of classroom participation. Certain extroverted students always raised their hands first, while brilliant, introverted students stayed quiet. Standard teacher cold-calling often induced acute anxiety. When I introduced a visual wheel, the entire social dynamic changed: students saw the selection as completely impartial and playful.
However, existing web tools were saturated with aggressive pop-ups, slow loading times, mandatory account creation, or hidden paywalls. I built SpinWheelix to be the tool I always wanted in my own classroom: 100% free, fast, beautifully animated, and strictly zero data collection.
